Prose Pride with Paul Burston - Monday 22nd July 2019, Waterstones Nottingham, Write Pride, Writing Proud

Join Paul Burston for a day of prose writing at Waterstones Nottingham.

Paul will be leading a 3 hour writing masterclass will include creative writing exercises, constructive feedback and advice on getting started, keeping going and overcoming obstacles such as writers' block.

THEN... join Paul for an evening of readings from himself and local LGBTQ prose writers...

Film Pride with Oli Mason - 23rd July @ Nottingham Writers Studio, Write Pride, Writing Proud

So you want to write a film? Great! Join Oli Mason for a 3 hour masterclass diving into various areas of film making from the initial ideas and writing to getting a film made.

THEN... join us for an evening of short film screenings including a few of Oli's introduced by the man himself.

Join us for some red carpet, or should we say rainbow carpet, action and of course, there will be popcorn!

Lyric Pride 2019 - 3

Do you have a voice and something to say? That’s all you’ll need for this masterclass.

Join local songwriter and musician Tash Bird for a 3 hour exploration of the intricacies of writing your own lyrics and music and how you can use this to get your voice heard and tell your story to the listening ears of your audience.

Once you've written your song, come listen to some at out FREE evening of music at Rough Trade from 7:30pm

Poetry Pride 2019 - 4

Spend just 3 hours with Joelle Taylor and you’ll leave this masterclass feeling raw, liberated and full to the brim with inspiration.

Joelle will provide you with an arsenal of skills for your writing including a rainbow of prompts, editing skills, and constructive feedback.

Our Poetry filled day will continue into the evening with an evening of LGBTQ spoken word headlined by Joelle herself!
